The final part of the consultation took place at the Village scarecrow day in September 2008.

At this event we asked our residents to prioritise the information from the previous  consultations.

The Hillam and Monk Fryston Village survey and plan is well under way.

The initial Consultation took place with all the village groups in January 2008.

The second consultation took place at the village Gala day in June 2008.

Here we built on the group survey and asked the members of both our villages to tell us of the good and bad points to our villages and what improvements could be made.

The purpose of the village plan is to identify all the issues that are important to us.  It is a joint plan for the residents of Monk Fryston and Hillam and has been compiled by residents of both our villages.  Several surveys have been completed  and the aim is to have it distributed in the early part of 2009.  Once it has been published the project will move on to implementation.
